In the first 6 months of 2020, despite many unfavorable objective conditions, especially the impact of the Covid pandemic -19 and the implementation of social spacing, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Executive Board of the Party Committee of Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) has promoted the role of the political nucleus of the entire Party Committee, leading to successfully fulfill the Corporation’s political duties.

From January 2020 to mid-April 2020, the CPV Party Committee has successfully instructed the organization of 72 congresses of affiliated Party / Party in the whole Party Committee. The approval of the election results of the Branches / Party Committees directly under the Party Central Committee was conducted promptly and in accordance with regulations, creating favorable conditions for the leadership committees to direct and direct the organization to implement the Decree. On May 14-15, 2020, the 10th Party Congress of Vietnam National Gas Corporation, the term of 2020-2025 was successfully organized. This is also the meeting point of the entire Party Committee of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, and the success of the Congress was recognized and appreciated by the Group’s Standing Committee.

Immediately after the Congress, the Party committees in the entire Party Committee immediately set up a working Regulation, a whole-term working program, a working program in 2020, set up a staff committee to assist the party’s work. in order to quickly put the Party Congress’s resolutions into effect.

In the first 6 months of 2020, the CPV Party Committee has consolidated and reorganized the grassroots party organization in accordance with the restructuring process of the Corporation, namely: Establishment of Hai Phong Gas Branch and Chi Chi Vietnam LNG business branch directly under the CPT Party Committee; Sub-dissolution of LNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company; Renamed the Party Committee of Northern Gas Trading Joint Stock Company to the Party Committee of Vietnam LPG Trading Joint Stock Company. As of May 30, 2020, the GDT Party Committee has 18 party grassroots organizations (including 11 grassroots party committees, 04 grassroots Party cells and 03 Party cells under the CPV Party Committee) with a total of 949 party members.
